Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu
Our guide will help you to get transferred to the hotel as soon as you arrive in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 – Kathmandu
On your second day of the tour you will explore the attractions of the stunning city of Kathmandu. Visit the famous and fascinating sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swayambhunath, Patan and Darbar Square. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 – Kathmandu – Paro
In time, transfer to airport to board flight KB 205 which departs at 0925 hrs from Kathmandu and arrives at Paro at 1005 hrs. Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. After getting yourself refreshed, visit the renowned Rimpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drgyel Dzong, Dungtsey Lhakhang and Taktsang Monastery. Do not forget to take a calm stroll down the streets of Paro Town. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 04 – Paro – Thimpu
Your day starts with a visit to National Museum. Later, drive to Thimpu which is around 65 km away and it takes around 1 hr to cover the distance. On arrival, check in at hotel. There is still ample of time left in the day, so visit the Memorial Chorten, Tashicho Dzong, Handicrafts Emporium, National Library, Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute, City View Point, Traditional Paper Factory, Mini Zoo and folk Heritage Museum. After the hectic day of city tour, back to the hotel for a rejuvenating night sleep.

Day 05 – Thimpu – Punakha Wandue Phodrang
The day is for your relaxation and city exploration. After a delicious breakfast, drive to Punakha Wandue Phodrang which is located at a distance of 70 km from here and it will take around 1 hr to cover the distance. After you check into the hotel, spend the day as you like. We suggest you to spend some quality time exporing the town on foot, experiencing the city life and its people. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 - Wandue Phodrang – Paro
Drive back to Paro which from this town is at a distance of 135 km. Ready yourself for a mesmerizing 3 hrs journey through the beautiful landscapes. On arrival, check in at hotel. The rest of day, you can spend as per your will. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 – Paro – Kathmandu
After the breakfast, transfer to airport for boaarding the flight KB 206 which leaves Paro at 1140 hrs and reaches Kathmandu at 1225 hrs. You will be picked up by our guide and transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08 – Kathmandu – Zhangmu
Head to Koari in the morning, from where you will cross the friendship bridge to Zhangmu after completing all the immigration formalities. There is again a drive to the main Zhangmu center which is around 115 km long and takes around 4 hrs to cover. After arrival, check in at hotel. Enjoy the pleasant Zhangmu climate. Your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09 – Zhangmu – New Tingri
Drive to Xegar crossing Nyalam (3800 m) and Lulung (5050 m) passes. The journey is an absolute dream for all nature lovers as one gets stunning views of the high Himalayas including the great Mt. Everest. This 8 hrs journey is long but the entire stretch of 242 km is full of wonderful sceneries. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 – New Tingri – Shigatse
The day is set for another long journey through the sublime landscapes of Tibet. The distance between New Tingri and Shigatse is around 244 km and it takes around 8 hrs to cover the distance. On arrival, check in at hotel. You will still have half the day with you that you can spend which ever way you want. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 – Shigatse – Gyantse
The distance between Shigatse and Gyantse is not much. The 90 km stretch can easily be covered in 2 hrs. So before leaving Shigatse, we visit the enchanting Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free market. We continue our drive to Gyantse. In the evening, visit the Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum stupa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 – Gyantse – Lhasa
After a sumptuous Tibetan breakfast, drive towards the capital city of Lhasa. The 8 hrs ride takes you through KARO Pass (5010 m), KAMBA Pass (4794 m) and Yamdruk Lake. The distance is around 259 km. Upon arrival, directly check in at hotel. Remove all the exhaustions of the long drive by resting for the night in the calm atmosphere of the hotel.

Day 13 – In Lhasa
Lhasa is a city full of surprises and fantasies. The day is for exploring the attractions of the city, there will bea a full day sightseeing city tour. Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 - In Lhasa
Even after a full day of touring inside the city, there are still a lot of places that are yet to be covered. This day as well is set aside for sightseeing inside the city. Explore Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, and Norbulingka. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15 – Lhasa – Kathmandu
After breakfast, move on to airport for boarding the flight CA 407 to Kathmandu that leaves Lhasa at 1025 hrs local time and arrives in Kathmandu at 0925 hrs, local Kathmandu Time. In Kathmandu, our guide will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16 – Departure Kathmandu
You will be transferred to airport in time for your flight to next destination.

NOTE : Depending on the road condition, we may have to use the Land Cruiser. If Land Cruiser is used while driving, the supplement cost of USD 80 per person will be levied and clients have to pay this amount directly on the spot.

Visa / Tibet Travel Permit Conditions :

1. Individual Travellers who are willing to join our Fixed Departure Groups (Tour No. 1 & 5 only), are recommended to bring visa from their own country, as it will be much easier.
2. As per the rules of the Chinese Embassy,we need passport details (Passport Photocopy) in advance i.e. Minimum 15 Days prior to the commencement of tour to obtain Tibet Travel Permit.
